Any recent, mass-produced Ferrari or Porsche? Nuhuh... Cars, watches, it was all the same systemic rush to accumulate assets - any assets! - while money was cheap and everyone was searching for on-paper yield. But, what comes up must come down. Somebody smarter than me said that. Something about an apple. |

The other thing - the human COvid19 virus is nearly identical with a bat Coronavirus except for one gene, which is near identical with a Pangolin Coronavirus gene. This gene encodes the spike protein on the virus coat that plays a critical role in infectivity. This hybrid virus supposedly more readily infects human cells. The type of thing germ warfare labs work on - I am sure our DoD labs do the same type of things. Random recombination not likely to create this hybrid - genetic engineering in a lab is more likely where it comes from. Not AIDS, not SARS, can’t state unequivocally this was man made but suspicious. |

Not worth arguing about - but remember when it was first identified there was some mention it came from Bats and other reports it came from Pangolins? This was in major media, not right wing web sites. The link below is from the bulletin of atomic scientists - not a right wing publication by any means. Won’t discuss further.

How did this post get started again?
I don’t think there is anyway to confidently say that this virus did not come from a lab, but RNA viruses often recombine in nature. |

my virologist friends tell me that is nonsense. they think covid19 comes from bats, via pangolins to humans, after one or two typical mutations. wild animals have less and less space to roam, they tightly cohabitant with humans in china and given the human pressure these things happen and will happen more and more.

In fact, I would argue that using Occam's razor, the "bio-weapon that accidentally leaked" explanation is more likely than a Bat-->Pangolin-->Human that randomly/spontaneously (via mutation) was dramatically more virulent to humans than SARS-CoV-1 and MERS-CoV. We only dismiss the bio-weapon theory because it's more frightening and our subconscious doesn't like that. What I wonder is: Why would anyone invent a new bio-weapon without inventing the antidote (i.e., vaccine) first? It's a lot like test-first software development: write the test cases first, then write the code. |

They will have a vaccine. They are waiting for maximum infection yield for release and maximise profits!

Occam’s Razor dictates that nature’s done what nature’s been doing for billions of years.

Moving back on topic and away from Zero Hedge...
Prices here in japan haven’t moved all that much. For those like myself that are still looking to buy, I haven’t seen any screaming fire sales yet. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong places? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

All I can say is that they listed a brand new 2020 5711 blue early this week at 60k and it was sold 1 or 2 days later. Some other "hot" models haven't sold in many weeks and I am sure they are flexible there but why come down a lot after 1 or 2 days?

I am curious what it actually sold for because there are a few 5711s online in the low to mid 50s that are sitting.
