who to send a 6309 to for servicing?

caught the Seiko bug, bought a few seikos, and last week caught an early 80s
6309-7049. It came with a known issue, it's loosing 2 minutes a day

suspect it really wants to visit the mothership, but haven't seen too many good comments on Seiko USA svc, so who do you guys recommend i send it to?

tks in advance

Spencer Klein is the man to go to here in the US. In fact he’s a member here too, his username here is Spencer PK. A quick google search will find you his website and YouTube channel.

If it’s not a full restoration though, any independent watchmaker would be able to service it easily, and I’m sure they’d be happy for the business right now. Support local small businesses!

Another one you can consider is www.timecareinc.com Rik Dietel does great work out of Tampa, and he works on a wide range of watches, not just Swiss. Reach out to him, good guy!

appreciate the recommendations

DCheeta - I'm just returning to the watch forums after a 5 yr or so hiatus. I'm here in Richmond, and we used to have a number of watchmakers working at the major ADs - now they all seem to have gone or left, with the major ADs sending watch repair work out to hdquarters somewhere else.

again, tks for the responses
