Incoming.. Grand Seiko Quartz GMT

I've been thinking hard.. do I need this GMT when already own Explorer 2 and other GMTs but being a true GMT and perfect grab and go GMT watch and just love the design and execution of the watch helped me made the decision. Although the bezel font is similar to my Explorer 2, I ended up buying as my twin GMT collection and love the orange hand on my GS!

I’ll probably catch hell for saying this, but I prefer the GS to the 16570. Congrats!

The quality of Grand Seiko is impressive. If only they had Rolex on the dial they'd be cheap at twice the price.

Substantially less than a Tudor GMT (at market value) actually. And the build quality is in a totally different league both outside and inside.

For the street value of the 9f quartz GMT at an AD you are getting an essentially handmade watch which is an incredible value proposition when you think about it.

Sure it’s a quartz? But when you read about the 9f manufacturing process and the hand work that goes into it, it’s a pretty amazing piece of watchmaking.

It looks like a dressed up version of the Explorer 2. Great pickup!

I may catch hell back at the Rolex forum, but in certain models, I think I prefer GS to Rolex.....

I really want the hi-beat variant but I’m nervous as to to fit of the bracelet as there is very little room for adjustment....
