New arrival - Seiko SRPC91
after spending some time in this forum, my interest in seikos revived. I'd had a FiftyFive Fathoms homage, based on a SNZH55 since @2008 and a SKX173 i bought about the same time. Sold both about a month ago, and damn if i didn't miss them - they were my "go to" beaters. It was crazy without any servicing both kept sub 10 spd time, one of them was keeping 5-6 spd.
Then someone here posted that BLoodmoon Mod watch youtube video and that's all it took And here is the newest member of the herd For whatever reason, the blue photographs brighter than it is in real life (except when you step out in the sun). Case dia s 45mm, bezel dia is 42.5 and hgt is a smigdeon over 13mm But the 45mm Turtle case wears damn comfortable on my 7" wrist. And kind of "cute" touch, the blue gradient transiting darker as you travel down the dial to the 6:00 marker is supposed to represent the ocean, and the deeper you dive, the darker it gets. |
