The Rolex GMT Master II 50 anniversary ceramic edition was released in 2005 the 116713 2006 then the 116710 2007.Now some countries had the old style paper warranties a lot longer than say countries like the USA which is a separate company from the rest of the world. Now the GMT11C has been a very popular watch since its introduction so they could be many many thousands with the the paper warranty. And seeing now all of these type warranty's have long expired well now its just a bit of outdated paper.

When I purchased my GTIIc new from an AD in 2007 it also came with the old style paper warranty - my understanding is that the first batch of 50 released into the UK in summer 2007 all came with paper warranties, after that they all have the new cc versions - no way of verifying this and as Padi correctly states at the end of the day it is just a bit of paper but still good to have - hope you enjoy your new watch.

You know, I think it's kinda neat. As mentioned though I don't think it has any added value as a package.

Anyone here still talking about the 50th Anniv? Do you think there is a diference in collectable value between paper cert vs plastic card now that the all gold version of the GMT is discontinued??

GMT 2 50th Anniv

Now that the GMT 50th anniv all gold green dial is discontinued, do you think there will be a diference in value of a watch having paper certificate of warranty vs the plastic card??
