Meisterstuck 149

Thought I'd share a few pictures of this new-to-me MB 149. Pardon my bad handwriting!

Congrats on the 149. I carry and use mine every work day. Use a MB Legrand Roller ball on the weekends.

Your handwriting is great and the pen is a classic!

The only issue? Not enough photos!

Do you guys carry it on travel by plane? Is this safe or does it leak everywhere? I just bought a sterling silver 146 - the one from James Bond "Octopussy", as MB just ceased production- but I hesitate to carry it with me on (frequent) travel.

Fountain pens on modern planes is simply not an issue. Keep the pen either full or empty, nib up, do not use it during either ascent or descent and all should be fine.

How many folk remember when the Stewardess used to hand out chewing gum and tell passengers to chew during ascent and descent to balance the pressure in your ears?

Times have changed.

I have never had any issues with leakage. The only pen type I have never carried on a plane is a eyedropper.

Everything I have traveled with was just fine.

How can we be sure that this is really an authentic bisquitlips?!! If so, bark twice Richard!! The aliens thread and the AD not selling authentic watches paranoia thread are starting to make me think everyone has gone insane on the internet.
