Any advice welcome. Keep 214270 Explorer or flip for 114060.
The explorer is a great piece but possibly a tad plain? |

I would not. I had the 114060 it was to flashy and I hated the lugs. I think the 214270 is perfection

The wider lugs could be an issue, wrist size 7" on a warm day.

Personally, I'd stick with the Expy II. I'm with Justinmg, the wide lugs don't do anything for me. Plus to have both a date and second time-zone complication is worth a lot to me, as I travel across the country a lot for business.
If I decided to do a Sub or a GMT II one day, I would find myself search for a pre-ceramic, pre-fat lugs example. But that's my preference. |
