7836 Bracelet

Here is the bracelet from my 1675. The watch is at RSC and this is being sent to Michael Young tomorrow. I'll post the after shots when it returns in a few weeks

It's worse than my photo shows. Particularly at either end. It feels very fragile on the watch.

Ah got you man! Hope it comes back as good as you're hoping it to!
One of my bracelets was restored by MY before I purchased the watch, and it is really in great shape! I'm sure you'll be happy.

I have had a few bracelets done by MY, and he does great work. I do believe however that he makes them very tight, and perhaps tighter than they came from the factory. Not a bad thing, just an observation. Since I've never held a NOS 9315 in my hands so I'm no expert. But my next one I may ask to make it not so tight.

Small update: I sent via FedEx as no other carrier would insure for enough or ship 'personal' items. Cost £84. Left London Thursday and arrived this morning. Within an hour of
FedEx notification of delivery Michael Young emailed to say he has received it and it may take up to 4-6 weeks.

Apologies for reviving an old thread, interested to know why you simply did not let RSC refurb the bracelet but got Michael young, did the bracelet need special treatment that rsc couldn’t provide?

No problem at all. RSC will only replace not refurb bracelets. It was the original folded-link bracelet that came with the watch. If you need any thing else feel free to pm and I’ll give you an email address.
