If replacing single watch, I would go from Milguass to new Datejust 41!! Its latest model and with new 70 hr movement and perfect daily wear and you'll get a date!

Milgauss 116400 Black Dial
No I was thinking whether to keep the Milgauss as an investment and or buy another Rolex or part exchange it for a different model?

Resale on the Milgauss doesn't seem very good and I love the original black (non-GV) Milgauss. I guess it depends how much you want a new watch, but unless there is something really calling you, I don't see the need to trade in.
You'll lose way more money buying a new watch than any further depreciation on the Milgauss, but if there is something you really want and the Milgauss has fallen out of favor, I guess you could flip it. |

The Milgauss original black is a future classic IMO! The best looking out of the 4 choices!

There really is something special about the black Milgauss--it's also discontinued which will make it more rare down the road.

For me, it just comes down to what you want to wear on your wrist. And are you a one watch guy vs. needing a collection. Some random thoughts on the millie: The market is pretty soft on them right now, b/c well...they weren't that popular in their run. They're a niche piece, IMO. However, does that translate to future value as it did with their predecessor? Who knows. Me personally, I like them...I think they're kind of quirky and cool, which I like in a watch. |

Good choice. In your case, adding seem to be the right move.

Agreed! One of the watches I really regret flipping. But do I plan to get it again, this time keeping it for good!

Looks like im keeping the Milgauss however getting the steel Daytona is virtually impossible so may have to pay more to get the gold or white gold Daytona.

FWIW, modern Rolex are bad investments. You will likely do better with traditional investments, such as the stock market. |

I would change it for a white Milgauss and happy about that choice ever after.

The Milgauss line will always have a place in the ROLEX kingdom. I will bet my Rolex on it. Only time will tell and it will!

Glad you are holding onto it. It's a beauty. It has my eye at the moment.
