Yeah, who would want the embarrassment of wearing a multi thousand dollar watch when you can wear a multi thousand dollar watch that screams LOOK I WEAR A MULTI THOUSAND DOLLAR WATCH!

The Tudor BB is more exciting than the 114060 - but the Tudor is also more bulky compared to the sub. I had both and loved both - but sole the Tudor and the Rolex 114060. Both are like chunky high-COG-steel pieces, compared to the more elegant 5-digit references.

Yes, unless the condition is very different from described. Posting by RM Special Delivery fully insured is no problem, it's done all the time.

Ive made an appointment to drop the BB off at watchfinder. So all being well that should sell to them next week.

My next dilemma is do i call and put a deposit on the sub ive found or wait to make sure my BB is definetly sold first.

No, as long as he/she does the bank transfer while you are there and you check receipt on your phone it should be fine I expect.

Obvs don't let the watch go until you see the funds.

Risk? Yes, if they plan to rob you.

Make the meeting in a public space like a Starbucks and check that the funds arrived on your account like others said

Thanks for the advice. I'm not too worried about being robbed moreso about the funds being guaranteed and not being to be recalled.

Congrats on the sale and getting what makes you happy. That's always the right choice.

On a side note it's good to see there are still a good number of Tudor haters on the forum ready to Tudor bash when the occasion arises. it's welcome fuel for my Tudor fire :)

All day has gone and no word from said buyer. eBay seems full of them. Once Friday comes I'll sell to watchfinder for a loss but at least it's sold.

I'm in the same boat. I hate the snowflake hands on Tudor's, I just can't get passed them. If they had different hands I would LOVE to buy some Tudor's, I really do like everything else about them. Maybe I could buy them and modify the hands? Hmmm...

To OP, I would sell your BB and grab the Sub, I think that is as close to the perfect watch as you can get (IMHO of course) Congratulations on the wedding
