For those of you who have both, which do you prefer? Even if your not am owner of both but tried them on which do you prefer as well? I know own both and can definitely recommend the glidelock but I am still on the fence about the easy link. Just can't seem to get it perfect.

Owning both claps and I can honestly say that they are equally as useful/good for me.
An extra 5mm from Easylink is all I needed and a notch (or two) from the glidelock.
I don't think anyone would need a larger adjustment on the glidelock for daily use, unless you want to be able to wear it over your shirt cuff or diver suit

Hands down the glidelock. Sometimes even the one adjustment from the easylink is not good enough.

I dont have the glidelock, but I do have a couple with the Easylink. The Easylink serves my purpose.

My vote goes to the glidelock.... easy and quick to adjust, a big improvement imho.

had a look at the glidelock system in the store and was quite amazed and was quite jealous of it... i still have to say the gmt easy link does what it needs to do! and i voted bias on that poll just quietly

The Glidelock clasp is probably the best clasp of all time in terms of quick and easy adjustment - Easylink, however, is still excellent, and suits my needs perfectly on my Datejust. Rolex's bracelets are very, very hard to beat these days

Having had both, I prefer the glidelock, but the easylink does the job well.

easy link is all you need, i prefer the simple 2 position.
glidelock is overkill to me unless your using for wetsuit.

but truthfully, the old style bracelet with neither is just fine... sometimes its a bit tight, sometimes its a bit loose... don't really care.

i do love the innovation of the glidelock but i find the clasp is just too long on the wrist, hence why i voted for the more comfortable GMTIIc clasp

I loved the glidelock so much it was the deciding factor in me picking my DSSD and Sub C over the GMT II C. And now that I have it I could not go back to the easylink. I do have the easylink on my Daytona but that's another story!

GLIDELOCK is better in everyway. It should be used on every Rolex. No question.

I think I have the Glidelock mixed up with Easylink. After looking at this http://oohlins.blogspot.com/2007/06/...ment-link.html I still don't really know what is the difference between Easylink and Glidelock. Which watches offer Easylink? I hope non of mine has it as I have not found any quick adjustment system on them other then the glidelock on the subc.

The easylink is nice but the glidelock gives much better variation in adjustment.

I think the real question is: which is better, a large range of adjustability that allows you very small or very large changes as needed or a small amount of adjustability that goes only one way - allows you to make slightly larger.

For my money, I'll take the ability to have as much adjustability as I can get if the two were an equal option. I find my wrists swell in the day and I like the ability to expand and contract by small increments.

More choices is better. But the advantage of the easylink is that you have a preset memory, meaning you have just 2 positions that are easy to go back to it; with the Glidelock, if you like a particular position is harder to go to that exact position after you change that position.

Both are great clasps. But the glidelock is better because you can tighten or loosen the bracelet size depending on your wrist size. My wrist shrinks and expands during the course of the day.

Incorrect, I am lucky that my preferred loose and tighter settings fall exactly where my easy link adjusts to. I find the smaller clasp is more visually pleasing as well as more comfortable. The DSSD glidelock edges out both of the others for me only because I can adjust without unclasping. I own a DSSD BLUE, A BLNR, a YG GMT2, and a Sub LVC

Own both. Glidelock, and it isnt even close.

Easylink may be enough for most folks, but Glidelock does everything that easylink does and much more.

It would be nice if all my watches have Glidelock.

Don't have easylink, only have glidelock.

Glidelock is better, especially the one on DSSD is the best. Easylink is not useful to me.
