I really dig my 116233, only ROLEX I have ever been interested in and plan to wear it to the end.

There are some really beautiful DJII's but you have to have the wrist for them or they will look too big. And, being a super Jubilee fan, the DJII is a non-starter. I too would love to see them offer the DJII with the Jubilee.

Good luck with whatever you choose, I'm sure you will love it.

I love mine, and I'm strongly considering adding a sibling for it later this year.

I'm looking at a solid gold DJ to replace my white gold Turn-O-Graph. I love the 36mm size, and bought the Turn-O-Graph as the best choice for a one watch collection. Now I'm thinking a SS Sub and the solid gold DJ are my grail.

I love the 16013 but I want the super jubilee braclet. Also the fact that the solid links reduce the stretch is a big factor. How long can one wear a 16013 DJ? How long will the movement stay strong and how long until the stretch becomes to much of an issue?

I haven't had mine very long but I love it, discrete (well discrete as a gold Rolex can be) and classy. I agree that along with the sub its thee iconic Rolex. Prefer the original to the DJII

I agree that 36 feels small, but I've always loved the stick dial of the DJ. Very classic and well proportioned. If only it came in 38-40mm, I think it would be perfect. The new 41 DJII seems a bit too large for my taste.

I've yet to actually have one on my wrist, but I hope I either fall in love with it or hate it. It will make the decision easier.

So to the DJII owners, how does it feel on the wrist?
Thanks I love this watch dial. It looks even better in person. My biggest concern with the DJII has quickly become my biggest surprise. It's amazing how easily it slips itself under the cuff on my dress shirts. Never catches or binds on them. Fantastic.

I tried on a DJII and thought it was darn near perfect. I think Rolex did a great job with it. The 36mm seems too small nowadays. But, I have a 7.5" wrist. I think it's fine for those with smaller wrists.

My wrist is 7.75 inches. So my question is, is 36mm just to small in this day and age?

I've worn mine since I bought it in 1982. It's been serviced four times.

I replaced the original jubilee band (and also the fluted bezel; see avatar) about two years ago, but not because of "stretch" (really wear) only for the look.

I take my watch into the shower at least once a week (more in hot weather) and use shampoo on the band, and I'm convinced that is why it still looks good.

I think if you clean it regularly it will last a long time...

I have the 31mm TT DJ and think it is perfect, however, I did not want one that was oversized. I think 36mm would be as small as a gentleman would want to go.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1361820394.909547.jpg
