Easy remedy get yourself a 16710 then you can get 3 quite cheap to buy inserts then 3 watches for the price of one.Get a late model then except for a clasp and very expensive slither of ceramic its basically the same watch.

I've come to terms that I will be getting this piece. Of course I have to see it in person first. My only concern now is the heft of the WG and how comfortable it would be as a daily wearer in comparison to the BLNR - one of the most comfortable watches I own.

It's a joke of a watch, a money grab shunning history. Should be in SS.

Meh… it's all just materials and colours, basically - same movement and functions.

loads of money to spare - get gold ROLEX
not so much - get steel ROLEX
none - no ROLEX

Very nice of them to cater to all of us!

And once again, Rolex rolls on.

The PepC will do well for them I am sure. It's a great looking watch!

I had 2 in one game once and we still lost.

No, I don't care that the pepsi is in WG.

I'm more frustrated with Rolexes costing two to three times the cost of Omegas. I'm happy to buy that which I choose to afford and not buy that which I choose not to.

Hysterical.

No. I will never ever be upset about something so small.

Not that they should be viewed as investments, but Rolexes do also hold their value much better than Omegas. That said, the barriers to brand entry are becoming higher, as the "prestige" race between Rolex and Omega carries on.

If the blue and red were as vibrant as on the old Pepsi then maybe, but the new colours seem more muted so I am not so interested.

That was my first thought. But then I saw the photos from the '2014 pricing' thread and changed my mind.

The colors in those images really pop.

He keeps insisting Rolex will make one in steel on each one of these threads. Perhaps he has inside info? :-D

I doubt I'd buy a new SS Pepsi anyhow. PCL's and a nasty list price would turn me away. Besides, my late model 16710 is a modern classic that doesn't need to be replaced.

I just don't see Rolex doing that. They have never made a stainless version of any watch that looks just like the WG model. What would make anyone think they will with this one?
