Bubblebacks and radium dials - are you concerned?

Hi all,

I'm sure this has come up plenty of times on here before, and I know Google has plenty written about it, but has anybody here who owns a 1940s Rolex Bubbleback ever been corncerned about the radium paint used on the dial? Is it dangerous to wear one of these daily? Something to be worried about?

Best regards,

Peter

Not at all. Just take precautions if you work on the dials and hands. m

Cheers all,

So how do you handle and store radium parts/hands just out of curiosity? Do you need to wear gloves and a mask etc?

Best regards,

Peter

We are all exposed to background radiation, x-Rays etc.
Your radium dial won't make a difference.
