Hi everyone, picked up this Daytona Patrizzi yesterday from Spain. It is a U Series.

From my reading up it seems some U series can be Patrizzi , and this is a U series, and as you can clearly see it is brown

Not as dark as some but darker subs than most. I have had this color change in the U series. Most think that W series is the only one and they turn a dark taupe or brown. Still a nice watch.

Thanks watchcrank, you are right it's darker than most, however I feel if it was any darker the brown would 'lose itself' with black background. This 'cappuccino' colour is fine. The watch was not advertised as Patrizzi but I think it is

Paint pigment faults are all the rage in vintage Rolex collecting. I'm not seeing what's different here.

I remember a time when a watch with dial defects/dirt/wear actually REDUCED it's value.
