1665 Seadweller - Mark III or Mark IV?

I have searched the net for the differences but still not able to tell if this is a Mark III or Mark IV dial.
Also, I have found that this may be a transitional case back - could it be correct for this watch at 6.6mil serial?
For the bracelet it is stamped S & T6 - what does that mean?

i have noted that the bezel is a service bezel with thinner fonts

Thanks in advance!

I believe that's a MK3 dial, someone more knowledgeable will be along soon to confirm. 6.6m serial dates the watch to 1981

This site is a good reference for the future http://www.drsd.com/watch-info/white...eadweller.html

The clasp marking T6 dates it to June 1995 (T Designates the year, 6 is the month). The S signifies that it's a service replacement.

Can't help with the case back question though ..

thanks clem,
The seller did mention that the watch underwent a service at RSC in the 90's. Could that explain the Bracelet and the sticker at the caseback?

Sounds like it could've been when the bracelet was changed.

Wouldn't worry too much about the case back sticker, the pervious owner may just wanted to preserve the enamel in the engraving.

Looks like a pretty good example though

Thanks guys!
Would such a caseback be period incorrect for a mk3?
