Thanks for the kind complements ladies and gents.......I don't usually make incoming threads but this one was a very special watch that was stuck in my mind ever since I saw it in pictures (HL65/Ken lol) and in real life.
I do not like fluted bezels usually and that's what kept me out of the Datejust line because it's more or less the traditional Rolex Datejust hallmark.....but this watch literally just knocks me off my @$$.....the increased wrist presence (nothing too heavy, but enough to remind you once in awhile it's there), the spectacular bracelet (presidential is super comfortable), the conforming/wrist hugging lugs, and the oh so versatile/dynamic dial....this is what it looks like on a gloomy day today:  Was a hard call between the rose gold and this but eventually I knew it had to be white to give more contrast with my skin color. Rolex did good with this one for sure. I encourage anyone interested in the piece to see it IRL at the local AD. Thanks again for the kind words....let's all now get ready for Basel.
