I fear mjclark32 has been hacked.

I was contacted by a 530 area code number with someone claiming to be MJC
They said they wanted to keep everything on TRF and asked for the best price on my DJ. I told him zelle or wire and I’ll ship after. They said no you ship first.

So I said ok I’ll dm you on IG.
Crickets...

This person said they had to check pricing with their business partner and that they were in CA and MJClark32 shows they they are in PHL

Anyways Mods please look into this and every be careful

I felt hella suspicious after I opened his thread. I saw one typo that stood out to me and I went hmm.. it was a very sophisticated post too.

If you did anything or anyone else did anything like responding to or sending an email or message or clicking on a link, change your password NOW.

Make sure you're passwords are complex as even just a word like 'toyota' can be cracked by a scammer (as has happened in the past).

I didn’t click anything, I just read the thread and exited. I did PM a mod earlier for good measure. Got the 2FA on too.

In addition to a strong password, I recommend using the two factor authorization Steve has enabled for us.

He has to spend a lot of time keeping the site secure and hacked accounts only adds to that burden.
