Aqua all the time for me also. If I go hiking or somewhere with rocks, I usually carry a backpack and inside is always an empty watch travel case i can put it in.

Not going to be daily. But will be used on rotation basis. These watches are not meant to be safe queens

I have both the 5164r and 5712 and would say I wear the nautilus more but only because it is a little more under the radar....or at least it used to be. But if I owned the stainless aquanaut I feel like I would wear that one more because it is a little "beefier"

Than you to all that have responded! As a long time Rolex wearer I was curious if my Patek could take a beating, seems to me that it can. So daily wear fora long period of time shouldn't be a problem.

I worn my nautilus as daily. I worn it for work, repairing stuffs and significant events. Love it when there are scratches. It pains me at the moment when i heard the ding sound but I remembered it. Gradually it becomes a memory.
Believe me when i can tell my friends when and how I got this/that scratches on my watch. It is a story telling piece... Any watches without scratches is a person without feeling. Wear with care and without |

I thought more people would wear their Nautilus/Aquanaut on a daily basis.

I wear my 5711 every so often, as I want it to
look good, it can easily scratch. Find Rolex watch even pm’s more forgiving. But it’s a great look. Low key to most, but those who know why it’s so good looking...I have a brown rubber strap, also have the steel bracelet, so in summer I might switch to steel....

I think that 5740/1G above is Mr. Stern's.
I could be mistaken, but I recall seeing a well-worn one from him a couple years back. |

5726 almost everyday and sleep with it on at night. So perfectly comfortable on the wrist it is almost as if it were custom made for me.

Funny I wear my 5711 White most and was working the attic of one of my commercial buildings and plumber said “ hey isn’t that a 5711?” I was amazed he knew what it was and he was amazed I would wear it to work on a leaking pipe! Ha! james in San Antonio Tx

5726 is my daily but I must admit switching to the Sub for more “sporty” activities.

I wore my 5712 daily for 2-3 years. Finally got back into a rotation during Covid craziness.
It's in amazing shape considering the amount of daily wear. Lot of hairlines but nothing a service checkup can't restore to 100%. |

I chop and change between my Aquanaut and also my 5712/1a. I also have a 6239 and 6263 that I wear which literally NOBODY ever notices!

I wear my nautilus's more regularly than the aquanaut...mainly because I find the bracelet more comfortable than the rubber...but I'd have no issue wearing either one daily...

15202, 5711, 5712 and 5164 in the regular rotation with no issues. But my lifestyle is not the most 'radical' so to say.
The only things I don't do with them are swimming and playing tennis. Some will say these watches are water proof but I see no reason for putting so much at risk for a few minutes under water. If and when I ever own a Sub or an AP Diver, I might swim with them, otherwise I prefer not to put my beloved watches to test in relation to water. My two cents. |

Owned/have owned numerous Nautilus and Aquanauts. Wear them in rotation amongst many others and though fairly careful, I wear them through whatever the days activities may be. I do remember wearing my 5711 at the gym one day while doing bench presses only to find that I’d inverted the links on the clasp somehow while doing a set - i.e. bent them inwards. I just folded them back into shape and carried on. I am careful but don’t go crazy to baby these things and they haven’t let me down.
