You need a solid case for a project...?!

Then post some pictures of the case so folks can help you...

Like reference numbers, side, etc..

Otherwise... sure, it is a great case, go for it!

I didnt want to "out" your watch for fear of it getting bid up, but I saw this watch on ebay and I am assuming you were the only bidder. Too many red flags for me and too many aftermarket parts, but if the dial is brown when you receive it (and it might be) then you did well. If its just a well worn black dial, then not so well..

Please follow up, would love to see good pics of how it looks in real life..

No, I didn't buy it. The seller refused to send closeup pics and pics of the engravings.
Too many red flags as you say.

Ah well, then I guess we can expect to see it re listed on ebay in a few weeks when the buyer returns the watch for a refund :)
