Paperwork does not fit in box

Hey all,

I just noticed that the small oyster box for the blnr does not fit the newer blackish warranty book? I know the dealers pick boxes at random sometimes, but the paperwork should at least fit in the flap-no?

Thanks,

JP

Naw. You're fine. I can never get it to fit in any of my boxes . At least not everything

It seems like the blackish warranty book is too wide or just as wide as the opening-even if I take everything out. Is this due to the newer warranty card holders possibly being larger than the previous?

If it fits in the outer box, on top of the inner box, that's fine/normal.

I found the same issue with the small box provided with my SubC when I bought it at the end of last year.

The booklets have never fit in the box. They are just that, booklets, not part of the watch's warranty or receipts. You can't fit the latest edition of Rolex Magazine in there either..

I never understood why they include a substandard box IMO, how come they can't give us a box like panerai,ap,pp,etc. I don't think that would hurt their pocket if they gave us a better box.

Because if Rolex included a standard or super-standard box, the price of a Rolex would $300,000,000 and the world's forests would be depleted in 3.5 years.

My sub-standard boxes reside in a cabinet and never see the light of day, just as a Rolex box made of rare and exotic materials would, thus Rolex is saving us tons of money for stuff that has no purpose after the watch arrives at it's final destination.

No watch box is even a practical place to keep a watch, and if you own a bunch of watches that would be hugely impractical.

All I can say is, be careful what you wish for. Everything comes at some cost.

Honestly, if the watches simply came in their shipping caskets, that would be fine with me.
