Rolex GMT 16710 Pepsi V Submariner Date (5 digit)

If you could only choose one as a daily wearer which would you choose ?

For me, the 16710's multi-time zone complication is much more useful to me than the Sub's. The watch is also so easily interchangeable between bezel inserts and bracelets. Can swap to black bezel insert on days that you want it to look like the Sub date.

16710 Coke

It's my daily wear. 16613 center links scratch easily, so it's not good for daily wear.

yup I just mentioned Pepsi as didn't want to change bezel every second day as daily wear!

16710 but I'd probably go black, saving the red/blue for anytime I'm bored with black.

16710 for me...I sooner keep track of different time zones than dive past 100m...if ever.

Would anyone else use the black bezel for daily wear instead of Pepsi ?

16710 Pepsi - it also sits lower than the Submariner. I prefer the Pepsi bezel insert as a daily, and switching to black or coke when I’m bored. Cheers!

Center links put me off the GMT for a daily use
I would end up full of scratches

2 great watches.

I find 16710 on a jubilee is the comfort winner

looking back , the 16610 was always the number 1 of sales, we can not say the same as the 16710 ...
in the last 10 years many things has changed, and today many collectors prefer the 16710

2 iconic watches

The 16700 was my first professional rolex, I bought an alternate black insert as well as an alternate jubilee bracket, since getting my 16610, I wear it more, a little bit heavier, love the larger crown, and the half link that positions the clasp perfectly.

But both great watches.

I have owned Submariners for decades but would go with the Pepsi in this comparison.

Both are great watches, no doubt. But if we're comparing, for me the balance tips in favor of the GMT because of functionality and versatility
