Grandma’s Bubbleback. Need your opinion

Hi guys. My wife just received this watch from her grandmother. Actually, it’s still in Italy and she won’t get it state side until later this year. But we were curious to find out what it is. Other than an old bubbleback we know nothing. I am sure you guys know a lot. No steel bracelet.

Sorry. I wish I had better pictures but the grandma is not a good photographer. We probably won’t have better ones until the watch gets here by Christmas.

I personally have never seen the words "Oyster Perpetual" on two separate lines as well as being the same size font as ROLEX. Usually it's on a separate line and a slightly smaller size font.

EDIT: I just Googled and found a bunch like that. So don't listen to me! Hopefully it's the original dial and not redone.

Thanks for spending the time to help me. I’ll keep searching and hopefully someone else will have some input.

"Grandma's Bubbleback." Even though that's contextually accurate, it makes for a funny thread title.

Didn’t occur to me until you mentioned it and I can’t stop laughing ! Let’s hope someone knows something about the watch too.

Ha ha ! No. She brought the watch to a dealer in Milano and he offered to sell it for her. He put a couple a different bracelet to show her how he would sell it. She took a couple of bad pictures and said she would think about it She called us after and I told her to hold off.
