the coronet is the most obvious tell. the coronet on GMT service dials is very different than any other non-service matte GMT dial.

That's what I was referring to. Previously apologing in advance for mentioning JP didnt really think necessary given Adam directly commented. That's all I was trying to get across.

Was at the Miami Antique & Jewelry show yesterday saw lots of service dials and Mr Moran had a booth there also, a rather large one to boot I might add.

Wow what a great thread, filled in a bit of time for me there this evening.

Loved the IG back and forth. "I get laid more than you get paid" what a classic line had me in stitches.

Same whiny brat as earlier in this thread, just more self-righteous and narcissistic with each year that passes.

I see that Luke Rottman was interviewed as part of this GQ article on Aurel Bacs and the vintage watch market. I wonder if this is the pot calling the kettle black? https://www.gq.com/story/aurel-bacs-...-watch-auction

Not sure I would attribute changes in the watch market to Bacs. Nice guy for sure, but web forums and the explosion of social media apps in my mind had more of an impact on the watch market than anything else by a wide margin...

just read all 12 pages of this thread.

So - are they father / son? shady business partners? complete strangers?

This is from September 9th. Still in business together, or merely friends??

Another issue popped up tonight on Instagram, on him refusing to refund a customer on a questionable 1655.

It had to blow up and plenty of dealers had to chime in, including Eric Ku. The post has been deleted, unfortunately.

A lot of disrespectful comments coming from him towards Ku, MentaWatches and others. I really think this kid needs to learn to have some tact.

The thread that keeps giving. That dude is just bad news. I can't imagine that he'll stay in business in the vintage (or modern) watch world. He has no credibility.

Puke Rotten-man really has managed to leave an indelible trail of larceny and fraud online to "help" him out his whole life.

The story on IG last night really illustrated what a pathetic puke he is; a 2k less refund that was contingent on a non-disclosure? I mean what the bloody hell?

He is the reason you research your sellers and pay extra to get from trusted sellers.

Wow all I can say is Wow. Too much entertainment for one day. Amazing how quickly you can lose faith in a person and how quick their true colors come out.
