Searching for a air king 5500 case, thoughts on this peculiarity?

Been looking for a replacement case for my existing Air King 5500 that was polished a bit too thinly for my liking. (this form of case thickness OCD is what happens after you lurk around here too much)

Anyways, I stumbled upon this listing on ebay and was weirded out by the '5500' inscription on the case. Shouldn't it be the other way round?

Thoughts on this matter would be appreciated! as well as suggestions of places to look for cases.

I'm no expert, but the photos have the "feel" of a polished case. My cases look like this when I get them back from my polisher, who's very, very good. It doesn't look like "New Old Stock" to me, and the price is too good for that. Don't know if it's genuine, but it doesn't look NOS to me.

Thank you for you reply. whatever it is, it looks thicker than my current case haha. Maybe I'll just send it into RSC and bite the bullet if they do still have service cases in stock.

Also, yeah the placement ref. num inscription is quite fishy to me

A lot of times numbers get "re-engraved" after polishing. By itself, not a deal-breaker if it's a case you need, but, as I said, some hesitations about this particular one and the way it's represented.
