Help with my 6605 Datejust
Well the stem has come out of my 6605 for the second time in 2 years. This watch is my daily and I really love the watch. It was serviced 2 years ago and is running fine. I do have to wind it about once a week. Probably due to inactivity on my part. Is the stem problem typical for this model? Can I maybe take it to a local AD and have the stem reinstalled? Doesn't look to be a complicated repair. Appreciate any help or suggestions.

Detent screw has most likely come loose. Pretty common, 10 minute fix it thats it. Broken stem is much rarer.

Make sure that your AD has a watchmaker on staff, otherwise they will send it off someplace.

Sorry for your luck but is an easy fix and if the stem is all one piece you’re golden. Possible ask for a new detent screw and possible have the threads checked JUST IN CASE.
