sub with jubilee

This has probably been covered before, but am wondering if I can put a Jubilee bracelet on my submariner?

In the old days as a customer the AD could let you choose between Oyster or Jubilee

It fits but it doesn't feel "right". The bracelet is too light for the heavy case. That and it looks like crap.

The new Jubilee with solid links are just as strong as the oyster using the same threaded pins. Its rock solid but flows easier over the wrist. Where is the rub with a jubilee on the Sub? You see rubber and nato on the Sub all the time.

which jubilee are you talking about?

The 63600 I believe has solid endlinks. But I found there to be a little bit of wiggle and gap on my 116610. Also on a sports watch, I'm not crazy about losing the glidelock/EZ link and flip lock.

Unless you're talking about the 126710 bracelet, which I've not yet tried on a sub.

The new 126710.
I have compared its construction to my oyster on my DSSD,SD43,Subs, etc.. and its just as strong. They use the same threaded pins as the Submariner. You get a fliplock but no glide lock but not a big deal for 99% of the time while using in the water. Really the only failure point is the springbars and Rolex uses them on every model.

I thought this over a few months back and the Ploprof uses a mesh bracelet and the new Jubilee flows air and water better than the oyster so its not so much a stretch to legitimately prefer the newer jubilee to the oyster for actual diving application. Rolex is smart with the new BLNR/BLRO in changing the lugs so you cant easily switch it over to the older "11" series models. The new jubilee bracelet is built like a tank.

These pins are huge and will not fail.

Yikes! Lot's of passionate people out there with definite opinions on Jubilee's/Sub's.
Any actual concerns as to the "strength" of a Jubilee vs an Oyster being able to hold a Sub on your wrist?

I definitely felt the DJ36 jubilee a little “light” to hold my 114060

Very cool! Thanks for the response. Big question though. Does it fit?
