Seiko 6r35 vs 6r15 movements

Hey guys,

Any experiences with this new movement vs the old 6r15?
Some are saying it’s the exact same while others are saying it has improved amplitude (and thus accuracy).
Any opinions?

The movements just came out. It will be a while before anyone has some longevity with one.

I’ve had very good results with 2 6R35s so far. Long power reserve and excellent time keeping (+3-4 sec / day). Pretty impressive. I’ve also really liked my 6R15s... both great movements. The 35s seem like an incremental improvement, but clearly in the right direction.

Not super impressed. But then again low expectations. Amplitude is generally low.
Accuracy not to bad, not amazing. Can’t discern any major improvement over 6r15
