Panerai accessories, seems to make so sense

Hi,

So I have a 1661, it came with an extra strap.

It also came with a screwdriver to change the buckle, however no tool to remove the strap from the watch head (as it has spring bars).

Why include half the tools?

Thanks
Roger

The screwdriver it came with doesn't fit into the lughole to depress the spring bar?

No, the screwdrivers fits the screw on the buckle, much wider than the spring bar hole.

Also, the spare strap has metal tubes which I need to remove, as these are not used on the 1661.

Thanks, I have a tool. It just seems odd to charge $11k plus and not be complete with accessories!

They don’t want you to change straps yourself because of the fragile material of the case

No joke

I know but they the change it for free in the boutique. My boutique sent me the Bergeron one after I complained.

Every watch person should have a Bergeon spring bar tool, with one end a fork and the other a punch to get into drilled lugs.
