Hi All - thinking of buying my first patek, currently looking at available 6000g’s on Chrono24

Two questions:

- if I want to get a new strap for this will Patek be able to provide one considering this model is now discontinued?

- upon receiving the watch, what’s the best way to authenticate it to ensure it’s completely genuine?

Answer to your questions

1) contact HSWA directly, don’t guess

2) you buy the seller not the watch. Because is not only authenticity a potential problem when you buy pre-own... what about what the seller says about the condition of the watch ? Full kit ? Maybe is not 100% full . Things like that force you to know the seller very well before any deals
