Help me choose
Hi guys,
Here is my small collection that I've started 2 years ago. I'm looking to add a GMT or a chronograph, but there's no way I can get my hands on GMT master II or Daytona at retail. So what other alternatives would you recommend? Any input is appreciated! |

Speedmaster is a great watch with lots of heritage. To me it is a must have chrono. I own one with the black leather rallye strap. One of my favorites for sure.

If you're yearning for a GMT or Daytona, no "alternative" will make you satisfied...
Would rather just take your time and stay on the hunt/save up for resale prices. |

Used.
Omega is also a nice alternative, as others have suggested. Unfortunately, it seems that the market in Australia is more limited than in the rest of the world. I suggest a vacation. :)

Yes, Omega's GMT's are among the very best. Similar mechanism to how Rolex controls the hour hands.
Personally I'd look for a used Omega Great White Seamaster GMT. |

I was looking at a speedy, but the manual wind and no WR plus the price being higher than a 1st gen preowned Planet Ocean chrono made it an easy choice for me.
I love it. Wear it quite a bit more than my Rolex or Tudor. |
