5711 rotor noise.

I’ve owned the 11 for a few months now.

It is the watch that I always looks forward to wearing.

At first, the rotor noise bothered me a little bit.

But now, I just can’t wait to here it! It’s like music to my ears!!!

Sounds like the best works of Ludovico Einaudi at La Scala each time the rotor whirls.

I also like the rotor sound on the 64. Although sometimes sounds concerning when you flick your wrist and it goes on a spree

I’ve got the same movement in my 5146 and I absolutely lose the sound. I don’t hear it all the time but it always brings a smile to my face when I hear it!

I am indifferent to the rotor noise of both my 5711 and 3998, but the rotor noise of a Valjoux 7750 in an IWC GST Chrono drove me mad. You not only heard but also felt the rotor wind on your wrist. That one had to go...

I like the noise too, especially the sustained ones. Amazing to hear the little spring-powered machine at work.

The drawback IMO is that it kind of makes me feel that the watch is a little more delicate than it actually is.

Thanks for making the video!
I like both the old and the new sounds to be honest.

I don't even want to know how you got hold of a white and blue 2019 5711 :D

Finally got my allocation for the new 5711 blue face 2 weeks ago and wore it the first time last week. The first time I heard the rotor noise and thought that my piece was defect. Ha...

the sounds has to come from somewhere. It is most likely caused by friction. Does having a whine cause wear and tear?
