I agree.... London is always the easiest, especially if we have a few intrepid international travellers coming over to join in the melee

Also very convenient for me

Seriously LOTS of 'country-type' pubs'n stuff I'd wholeheartedly recommend in Essex but I reckon London (or any other major city?) is easier for everyone to get to.

Any more developments for the next meet? I think I'm finally prepared to come in from the wilderness and meet some of you guys! The photos of the last meet looked like everyone had a great time!

The only development that I heard was that this year we're having a "vicars and tarts" theme. If you're not dressed up as one or the other then you won't be allowed in.
p.s. it was Spuds idea

Well, I've been doing a bit of research: if we were to hold this on the weekend of Saturday July 7, you can get a double room at the Tower Hotel (presuming everyone would be happy to do the Dickens Inn again, it was a pretty good venue last time!) for £110 (exc. tax). The next weekend, the prices go up. I think it's gonna be a case of having to book sooner rather than later to try and keep the prices low

Any objections?

Chris

But Nathan I called the shop & Marie told me you'd already bought the last sequinned basque in fuschia!!

You know we'll clash so I've gotta sort a whole new outfit now!!

Hardly seems like yesterday

We aren't decided on a Europe trip this year.....still in discussion. The GTg is one of the things I'd miss the most if we didn't

Bring out your best negotiation skills.

Besides, I wouldn't know what to order without you.
