The Star Wars references are epic!

I just beat up an Apple Watch wearer for asking me where the closest quinoa grey seller was.

I feel better now.

I’m considering double wristing it too. Apple Watch is a very useful tool. And AAPL appreciation has paid for many of my watches. :)

The Apple Watch has evolved into something very useful. I’m extremely impressed with my son’s watch and love that I can call him when his phone isn’t with him. That’s really incredible when you think about it.

I actually like my Apple Watch while working out and it forces me to put down my phone... But I just wanted to poke fun

I have been out on site this week so have been wearing my Apple Watch.

I can leave my phone in the office.

I double wrist, mainly started during covid to track o2 Saturation and hear rate due to covid anxiety. I really like the fitness rings as it is a good challenge and work out with the Apple Watch to challenge myself. Nice to wear while biking to track speed, distance etc and while doing interval training.

The convenience for not needing my phone on me all day and leaving it on my desk for important alerts is more significant than I initially thought. I also use it for two factor for logins and it is convenient.

Now I still wear a mechanical everyday and it won’t replace that, but it’s a good supplement.

I went into an Apple store and tried every Apple Watch and then said I wanted 25% off and a hat or I’ll pass.

Felt like I was at my now closed AD 20 years ago.

Anyone else?
I did this about 1.5 years ago and recently dropped the Apple Watch for Garmin Fenix 6. Will probably never go back to AW since using garmin.
I’ve probably only worn my other watches 2-3 weeks combined in the past 16-18 months

Do you have any purchasing history at THAT SPECIFIC Apple store?

I have my boss, my phone, my kids, my wife ... all never stop bugging me. I don't need to add my watch to that list.

but do whatever to make yourself happy

Yes, my husband has given up wearing his 16710 for his Apple Watch. He got it to wear to the gym and to swim laps (he used to wear a Garmin), and loves its versatility and durability. As a proud member of TRF I’ve tried to talk to him about it, but he won’t be persuaded. It doesn’t help that the 16710 has roughly doubled in value from what he paid for it (even though it’s insured).

Apple Watch is a cool piece of kit I must admit. What I don’t like is the constant charging worries, plus the aesthetic appeal of mechanical watches can’t be matched. I always yearn for my mechanical watches. My Fenix or Apple watches are for active pursuits where I like to monitor many different metrics.

Been in the AW since the start and was a kickstarter on the Pebble before it existed.

Did you know it has multiple Covid features now? It’ll do contact tracing in some markets, times hand washing, and now will unlock my iPhone when I’m wearing a mask.

I have an apple watch. It serves a purpose. I wear it when there is a likelihood my real watches would get damaged - shooting, golf, skydiving...

I understand the idea of a digital or quartz or just plain cheap watch .... I have and wear a few. I just have zero need or desire to give other people access to my attention by wearing a phone device on my wrist. There is nothing that can't wait until the next time I decide to look at my phone...and I know it's hard to believe but that maybe hours away.
