Mini GTG: fastmd
Some of you guys might remember a car themed thread where a member posted a ridiculous garage. He and I communicated a bit and I sort of invited myself to check out his stable. He was exceptionally gracious and agreed.
Fast forward a few weeks and I reached out to set it up. I went to visit him today. To say he is a humble gentleman is a vast understatement. We spent a few hours today talking cars. He welcomed me like a long lost friend. It was an exceptionally enjoyable morning. And again, what a humble guy. I can’t say enough nice things about him and his sweet and welcoming family. So while I can’t say enough nice things, these pictures might help. I admit, we talked watches only for a few moments. It was mostly cars. And I’m quite certain I’ve made a new friend. And we will have plenty of time to talk about watches and cars

Hey Seth, it was great meeting you today. I am glad are schedules aligned. My wife and daughter always make fun of me when they see me reading the forums because I have zero social media exposure due to my job. But, when someone expresses the same type of passion around my hobbies I invite them to my home.
Look forward to meeting you again. Maybe we plan a gtg for some of the local members who also like cars and watches. You definitely need to stop by again at the end of summer when the 2 other cars we spoke about get delivered. Maybe I pull some of my other cars out of the warehouse, that my wife doesn’t know I still own, lol. Cheers, T |
