I’ve been a fan of the Cartier bracelets for a while. I think they’re both stylish and timeless, on both ladies and men.

I’m taking two-tone to another level! Haha

Mine is rose gold, but it looks more like yellow gold after a while. FWIW, I have received more compliments on the bracelet(s) than on any watch I own and I’m always wearing a watch...

Cartier is very happy to give it a shine, which they did for me around Christmas as mine was looking pretty banged up. It’s amazing how much of a difference it makes.

This looks amazing! Love the Rose Gold combo. Guess one will need a CHNR to go with it!

Was thinking of the WG so it’s easier to match since I only have stainless steel watches.

how long did you have it before you got the shine? and i know its more gentle than polishing but does it show any signs of material being removed? i know it's not as simple as them just cleaning it and that they do something on top of that

also the stack looks great, does it bang up both in the process though? lol

One thing I never understood is when people stack these bracelets with the watch. They look great stacking them together but I would never do it on the same side as my watch.

Thanks mate! The WG is very sharp too. My only complaint is that it seems to develop a dull, grayish finish very quickly whereas the nail bracelet I’m wearing is rhodium plated and has a brighter finish, almost like the difference between the hues of platinum and white gold.

Thanks Huncho and congrats on getting yours!

I have had the rose gold bracelet for about 3 years. They recommend you do it only once a year to avoid removing too much material. I had mine originally cleaned up when they offered at the boutique in Paris without me asking. It was about a year and a half in. So another year and a half and I had it cleaned up again. They do definitely take a beating, but the lines and edges are very crisp and they told me at the store that the buff they do doesn’t remove nearly as much material as a full polish and that you can do it pretty often without compromising it.

The bracelets do scratch each other, I’d say the love bracelet takes the beating and shows the most but it doesn’t bother me and they can always clean it up. The nail bracelet hides scratches much better and is easy to take on and off which I like very much. I don’t always wear them together but I think they look good stacked.

I wouldn’t either. Well, maybe I would if I had an oil field or a hedge fund but it will definitely bang up both your watch and the bracelet.

7 years worth of wear. Doing all sorts of stuff so it’s as beat up as a Oyster bracelet would be with similar wrist time (then adjust for metal softness).

You have good taste in transmissions. Cars too.

(Bracelet is cool too but I actually kind of missed it entirely upon seeing the 6MT M.)

BMW M with a manual tranny, bravo!

Thanks guys for letting me know Cartier provides free 'polish', most impressive!

I can see how that might be distracting ! This is honestly the only picture I had of the topic here, I normally take wrist shots of my left wrist !

Never drove an automatic car until my late 20s, and so a large part of the attraction of this one is that it feels like the cars I drove in my early 20s (manual and real feel on the steering) but a lot more fun.

What always struck me as strange in the US are these class rings or sports related rings and given their style how they are viewed relative to other jewelry. (The same for signet rings).

They are at least as much (if not more) of a statement in terms of jewelry (or fashion) choice than many of the bracelets we see.

Not a negative comment in any way on these, more so how one is viewed versus the other.

I believe the rings you’re referencing are perceived as accomplishments by their wearer rather than a silly bracelet one bought with no sentimental meaning. I don’t wear any rings, just my watch. That being said I have a ring which means a lot to me and meant a lot to a man that helped shape a young me. The day I got it I wore it all day in honor of him. I may wear it occasionally just to remember him even though I am not a jewelry guy.

No bracelets for my husband. The piece of jewelry that says “love” is his wedding ring.

I think look wise, wearing 1 looks better than these two mixed. But that's personal preference.
