My first watch and my most recent.

Bought the Seiko diver 34 years ago and this new turtle showed up today. The old one still runs. Amazing!

That’s awesome

I hope that one day I will be able to share a similar story.

Enjoy them both in good health

Wow. How many times have you you serviced your 34 year old Seiko?

Probably zero. And it’s probably +1/-1 34 years later.

I am not the OP.

Just saying that knowing seiko it probably has never broke down or needed service and still runs perfect. At least that’s how mine are.

The lume is certainly not as bright as new but i can still read it. The old one is about +12 seconds per day.

I have a 7002-7039 that I bought new in '95. Wore it daily for 10 years. I had to have it serviced then. When I got it back it was in regular rotation for another 10 years. Needed 2nd service. Was back in regular rotation until last July when I received my Explorer II. I love Seiko watches.
