I’ve joined you!!!!!!

I am leaving for a couple weeks in South America next week and don’t want to take my Rolex with me, so I used it as an excuse to buy a second watch. I looked at a lot of Seikos, but decided on the classic Turtle, the triple seven. I looked up on line and found out Macey’s is a dealer, so today i checked it out.

The counter had signs that said: 25% off! So my interest was immediately peaked. I tried it on and LOVE IT!!!! I asked how much? The sales lady said: Let’s see... from $495 MSRP our price is $395 and 25% off. That means... $290 plus tax.

A brand new 777 for that price!? Maybe on the internet, but....

I couldn’t get my credit card out fast enough. Been wearing it all day

Congrats!!!

It is a whole different world, isn't it? Going from a "Wait many years, or pay 80% premium and we will ship it to you" to "40% off MSRP" and "Would you like it wrapped, or are you wearing it out??"

Nice one! congrats, perfect watch to come into seiko with, the turtle reeks of the brilliance of design of the 70s seiko, a must for anybody into seiko who likes the design.
Theres so many colours too so one can really experiment and have some fun with different colour schemes and not break the bank.

Im hearing this same sentiment over and over in the last 5 years, its great to hear.
Ive always said Seiko puts the fun back into the hobby, and they have a legit charm and quality that once people discover they get excited about it.
Seiko can open a new world of fun for the guys who have been previously luxury only, some find themselves so content they rarely go back to waiting lists and forking out huge money for watches.

Well said, it’s like you know me.

Huge congrats Paul. I have a 779 that is my beater and I have grown on love the darn thing. I also purchased mine through my local brick and mortar store. Hard to pass up once you put it on your wrist.

Congrats brother!

Bought my first Seiko after owning several Rolexes. A fraction of the cost but not a fraction of the pleasure.
