I tried one on at LHR a year back or so. It’s hard to tell how they feel properly when the bracelet isn’t sized. It felt ok, but I don’t remember is being special. Interesting that you find it more comfortable than the GMT — they have a very low case back (least the IIC and Master references). Perhaps I should take another look; there’s one up on the classifieds at the moment!

Great photos, Steve! Enjoy your new piece and wear it in good health and with great pride.

The new Exp looks quite thick — what’s the thickness of the new reference?

Had it a few years,

It is too thick, too big for 'proper expeditions' hence huge scratch on it now..
The five digits are far better...

You should try a five digit reference. A lot lower profile, smaller so far better as a tool watch..

That looks great on the NATO, Steve! I haven’t tried one of the 5digit Exps. You’re right, I should try one on for fit. I’m currently toying with moving out of my BBGMT to a 16750.

Great shots, Steve! I've tried to talk myself into the modern ExII but I just can't. I love my 5 digit polar way too much! It's perfect!
