right?

I’ll be doing a few mods, which I listed about. Edit: Single “V” back yoke with no kidney panel I might also do a dark tan stitching for slight contrast.
Thank you Adam, appreciated. I think I’ll contact a Thurston tomorrow. I like that they’ll send a sizing jacket with samples to help make the choice

Anytime They also request pics of the fit jacket on yourself.

Take note of this:

“Customers pay the base price of the style, plus shipping, to get a stock jacket shipped out for the fitting”

So, you have to commit when you’re ready. You also pay to have the fit jacket shipped back.

I own an Aero A2 and I can say with out any doubt it’s one of the finest jackets you can buy no matter how much you spend. I traveled to Seattle to get fitted which was well worth the time.

Here are the final specs on my Thurston Brothers Aero Seven jacket:

-Dark Seal Vicenza Horsehide
-olive drab stitching
-August collar
-Single “V” back yoke with no kidney panel
-4 pocket front
-Slightly slanted chest pockets
-Nickel Talon front main zipper (end 1” above hem)
-Nickel ring pulls on front pockets
-Aberdeen lightweight wool lining with black cotton sateen in sleeves
-Left side interior pocket with no closure

It’s looking like mid to end of January. I can’t wait to receive this bad boy!

The Vincenza horse hide is fantastic, I was able to check out all the available leathers on my visit to Seattle and it was far and away the best. Enjoy your new jacket.

I was able to check out the Vicenza Horsehide via the fit jacket and samples. I was quite impressed. Nice weight, feel, grain and look to it!

Love that dark seal. I am painfully envious.

I just got an email from Carrie @ TB. My custom Aero Seven jacket arrived at the shop. WOW, that was fast! I guess Aero wanted to knock out orders before they closed down for the holiday!

They sent me an invoice for the extras (Vicenza HH, Lochcarrron tartan lining and one interior pocket). I just paid it and asked when the jacket will ship. I would expect them to ship it tomorrow or right after Xmas. That being said, I should have it by the end of next week. They ship UPS ground which is about 5 business days from Seattle to east coast (Philly).

I’m stoked AF!
