Questions Regarding Chrono Movement

I am currently trying to choose between a Bremont Alt1-c and Alt1-z. I'm trying to find out a bit more about the underlying movements.

The Alt1-c uses a modified Valjoux 7750-SO Bl AC. It has small chrono dials for seconds and 30 mins at 3 and 9 and the date at 6. For a chrono, it's an incredibly clean looking dial.

The Alt1-z uses a modified Valjoux 7754. It has chronos at 12, 6, and 9 for seconds, 30 mins, and 12 h, and a date at 3, and a GMT/Zulu hand.

Can anyone tell me about these underlying movements? Workhorses? Is one better than the other?

Pics are available at:
Z: http://www.bremont.com/feature.php?n...eather&v=1&c=2
C: http://www.bremont.com/feature.php?n...eather&v=1&c=0

Aside from info about the movements, opinions are welcome generally as well. I've had the C on and like it, but the Z is ordered and on its way to the dealer. Once it arrives, I'm going to choose between the two.

Same movement pretty much, the 7754 is quite a new movement variation of the 7750 ( 5-10 years or so) which allows for an added 24 hour hand THAT can be set independently from the hour hand. Before that if a 24 hour hand was added to the 7750 it was like the older GMT masters where it was locked in with the hour hand for rotation.
its an immense workhouse movement, widelay available easily mdified and serviced. cant go worng IMHO.
Breitling used it in all of its Chrono's for years and years and still do in some but are moving in house.

I have actually tried both of these on about 3 years ago, in an AD in Glasgow. IMHO the Z is so much nicer.

Thanks for the info, it certainly aids my decision.

Bad news is the Z I want (cream dial) is not available from Bremont at this time, and they're going to have to make it and send it to me. Apparently their whole shop is in go mode over some new model they're producing.

Oh, well, at least I know I'm getting a new new watch.
