That is awesome!!! What a dream for me. So the book case door will be from a library or living room? I know you call it the “bonus” room, which is awesome lol.

Jeffrey I've been on this forum for nearly 10 years and I gotta say this is the first I've seen someone with a watch room! Love to see pics after!

It will be just off the "Bonus Room" upstairs. That room was originally suppose to be a bathroom, but I think I made better use of it! LOL
You will pull the book and the bookcase will open into my WATCH ROOM! :) The builder should be breaking ground in 3 weeks!

I did this is the old basement with the unmentionables. Bought a kit that was 4” square tube steel and corrugated metal skin. Drywall over and used a safe door. Was sold as a storm shelter but worked awesome for watches and other collectibles too.

Very cool ! Make sure you add connection point for internet so you can have connectivity while you are there and maybe more electrical outlets and a ceiling light fixture. In for pictures when you complete it.

But you still have to select the correct book to pull to get the door to open! Hahahaha

Thanks for all of the comments guys, we are so excited!!!!
The dimensions are 9×7 if I recall correctly! The lot we are building on is 3x the size of the one we had!

I'd need one of those and another separate room for my cigars.
