Isn't it a little (?) contradiction that you don't want to ruin the look of the watch by doing it?

When actually do you enjoy the flawless look of the bezel whilst you have a protective thing on that?

I get some people with OCD that don't want to see a scratch because it drives them crazy. But wearing all the time the watch with this isn't normal

Sparse scratches and an occasional ding don't ruin the fine finish of the watch. Polishing and tape do.

Yes, and those clear stickers turn yellow and quite unsightly. When I removed them on a MB the underlying color never quite matched and the edges were obvious. I have followed my wife’s view that “patina” on watches and jewelry is just a natural process of use.

I don't see why people have issues with stickers on the watch, they are almost invisible and protect the watch so why not!

I just think they are bit pricey at the moment.

I'd need to see it, but I'm of the view that if it is well hidden then for certain use why not. For instance, if the bezel protector is pretty much invisible, and I don't see why that can't be the case, I'd certainly try it on my Summer Edition bezel. If it saved a ruddy great scratch or mark I'd be very grateful indeed. I just don't get those people who seem to think scratches are character and good. Not in my book...

Indeed, OP, could you tell me which 44 ROO bexel protector you used?

A car gives you pleasure from the drive, the utility AND from looking at it. A watch is effectively jewelery and you "use" it by looking at it only. I could paint a car bright pink and still enjoy the drive, as I'm not looking at it. :)

I'm interested to see more pics though OP. If you upload via imgbb.com and copy the "BBCode full linked" link into your message you will link directly to your photos

Adding to my above post all these who are against watch protection I bet they all have screen protectors and covers on their phones, lots of protection for a £1000 device which will not be worth £50 in couple of years but they are against protecting their £20000 device which will only go up in value, no sense to me!

Before I got the first scratches and chips I spent far more time being careful than now.

Don’t really notice them accumulating now.

Maybe one day I’ll get an AP polish done, but until then I enjoy it as is

I have barely scratched my bezel. The case (above 1 o'clock) is a different story! :) Such is life

It is just a watch and they all get scratched.
Don't let the watch own you - it should be the other way around.

Not comparable the phone and the watch. Those damn phones are falling down and can be damaged without a case cover. Having almost everything in a phone and (unfortunately) depending so much on the phone (contacts, mails, documents, photos, videos, porn etc) mandates some protection to avoid the frustration of losing valuable data and time to repair and recover. It's not the phone's value that drives this.

Unless you are moving around banging your watch to door cases, walls etc no protection needed. And if you are actually doing this then you should probably just get a casio. Normal wear and even extreme wear is a way to bond with the watch and make it your own.
