Discount on Moonwatch 3861 at SoCal AD?

Hi all,

I'm thinking of purchasing a new (and first) Omega Speedmaster Professional 3861 from a SoCal AD but not sure what to expect when buying an Omega. I have purchased 2 Rolexes from them last year, so I'm not a total stranger. I'm wondering if it's likely to get a discount on one of these-- considering that they can easily be purchased from Omega website?
Thank you.

A little tougher on the newer caliber, so my guess is 5-10% in the CA market.

1861/63 likely can be had at 20% but considering you have purchase history, if you were to obtain 20%, that would be a solid discount IMO. Good luck!

I live in CA. I buy my watches from an AD in NY. He is offering 11% on the 3861's. Plus no tax and shipped. I think that's a good deal.

Do you mind sharing your AD info (private message)? Seems like a good price.

Everyone wants their watches to be cheap to buy but valuable to sell.

Discounts getting lower and rarer was inevitable.

Ironic that some cannot see the irony

You can buy them new on chrono24 with around 10% discount. so those seller have properly had a discount on 20%.

So somewhere in between 10 and 20%.

But if your AD i suppling you with some attractive rolex, it might be better for you to buy it at you AD with a smaller even no discount at all to keep him happy :-)
