What next? Help a watch addict out.

Current collection consists of a DJ36 with dome bezel and oyster bracelet, BLNR on jubilee, Omega SMP 300M (Bond watch, and I put it on black rubber strap), Hamilton Khaki Mechanical, Grand Seiko SBGE257 (green GMT with ceramic bezel), Seiko Alpinist Blue, and Tudor BB58 Blue.

What next? I posted this in the Rolex main forum, but I’m also a big fan of GS. I’ve been hesitant to pull the trigger on another GS despite how much I like the SBGE257. I’ve been thinking I will get another GS after they reduce the case thickness on the sports watches, they taper the bracelets a bit more (at least from 20mm to 17mm), and the watch has a solid clasp (I like the one on the SLGH003, picture below).

I like diversity in my collection (type of watches, I don’t mind have more of the same brands. I have two watches that are up next, but interested to hear opinions.

What about something with a white or silver dial? I am nuts about my SBGJ201 hi-beat GMT, and GS makes numerous outstanding dials. The white birch is also killer.

If you are waiting for GS to produce a proper bracelet... then it sounds like you're going to be waiting for a very long time.

My recommendation is that you just settle on a strap if you are looking at any GS options. With that in mind, the SBGW231 is absolutely gorgeous and looks spectacular on strap.

Personally, I think the best thing to add to your collection would be a Speedy. New Speedmaster Pro 3861 sapphire would fit in nicely. Adds a chronograph and a charming manual wind to the line-up. It's a great strap monster, too.

I really like the bracelet on my GS...more than any of the Rolex or other brands I've owned. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=597904

I’m partial to this case type, plenty of choices, band sucks but leather is fine or use a 19mm Rolex jubilee!

That’s a gorgeous piece. I’m contemplating the green(SBGJ251) or black(SBGE271) or blue(SLGH003) for my next GS. All beautiful pieces so hard to make a decision

I have a GS (SBGP007) which I really like, my dad the SBGA401, but must admit the bracelets could be improved.

That thread you linked is interesting, some varied opinions - I agree the bracelet isn't *bad* and looks nice, but these days when you're spending thousands on a watch with a metal bracelet you should be able to expect on-the-fly micro adjust. The clasp could generally be improved and be more robust.

I agree with comments on the other thread that the titanium bracelets on e.g. the Snowflake or Golden Snowflake don't have the best feel. Would perhaps feel more 'grown up' if the pin and sleeve was replaced with screws, but overall it's really just the fact they are so light, they can seem less solid then the steel ones. Some prefer the more weightless feel, but a bit more weight would make people think you were getting 'more' for the money :)

I have a deposit on one and I would suggest you might do the same. Exquisite time said at this point they’re only getting two so although there will be 2021 pieces to buy, could be difficult to get (and maybe not)
Good luck on your hunt

Just a small correction - the watch available in the fall is the SLGA007(blue wave)
