Any Planet Ocean GMTs in the House?

I'm considering one of the black/white Planet Ocean GMTs to complement my Speedmaster. Looking for something that I won't have to worry about in the pool, etc.

If you have one, I'd love to see! I also have my eyes on the classifieds section for one!

Here's my Oreo with it's 2230.50 brother. The Oreo GMT is the best Omega diver hands down. I also have it on the rubber strap today. It's better to buy it with the steel bracelet and add the strap to change it up.

Such a beautiful watch! OP, I can see why you want one of these. The Planet Ocean is my favourite dive watch now.

Great looking watch! I love the B&W GMT.... any shots from the side? I tried one on once but felt that the thickness was a bit much.... What are your thoughts?

Congrats! This one has me torn. I like it, but not sure I would for an extended period of time. It looks like a super fun watch and I really want to pick up a PO. I’ve got some more thinking and trying on to do.

Ironically, just got the call that a Batman was available for me from a local AD. Way too much money spent this week, but I’m a happy man!

The Oreo is one of my favorite watches and my first love for omega. I couldn’t afford it before and now have other watches on the list but I hope to get one one day as it is just the perfect color combo And an awesome timepiece.

You’ll love it.

Love a planet ocean. I’ve had the 8500 45.5mm steel one. Seemed massive!! Then the 43.5 blue ceramic 8900 Po. Nice but didn’t gel completely. Now I have the 45.5mm Deep Black GMT. Wow! Epic. So cool. Wears small. Love it.

I was terrified to wear this with the factory leather strap so I bought an aftermarket, rubber-backed leather strap. It's 1mm more narrow than the OIEM strap but it's barely noticeable except in the case of an extreme close-up. It's a compromise I can live with.

Love to 18K Gold version too! Completely forgot I had tried this on a few years back at an AD.

I am new to the site, and digging up this older post. I love the look of the B&W GMT as well, and looking at it as my first "premium" watch. I do have the same concern about the thickness. Any thoughts for a potential newbie?

My GMT. I picked it up a couple of weeks ago. I’m a big PO fan. I’ve purchased 6 between myself and ones I’ve given to my family. Still have 4 of them.

Fantastic watches IMHO and great value compared to the premium folk are having to pay for a Rolex GMT these days, not sure who came up with the name Oreo though, should be called the Orca surely with it’s ocean links.

They did a really good job with this color combo and the bezel. Very cool and unique PO.
