Icon20 Friend's newest pickup - 5712/1R

Tagged along with my friend to collect the new Nautilus Moonphase 5712/1R on a bracelet. Always thought the dial was lighter but it is actually the same shade as the 5711R.

Waiting for the day to add a full rose gold Nautilus to my collection! Enjoy the pics

Unfiltered and unedited shot of it. The brown dial pops!

Wearing his 5711R to match his 5712R

Those Rolex are not difficult when you see his Nautilus and Aquanaut collection. He has every single reference except 5711/1P, 5976, 5711 Tiffany, 5711 green diamond and 5990/1R.

I agree with you on DSH, and DSH collects non-sports Patek too. However @watchsuperstars appears to only buy Nautilus, Aquanaut and rare handcraft from his AD which is really intriguing to me. Cortina doesn't sell jewellery and I'm not really sure how he manages to buy sport Pateks only without other bundling.

Maybe OP can shed some light on how his friend managed to execute this, so that we can all benefit.

Well Michael I just went and checked him out on IG

He’s definitely earned the superstar moniker. The man has 2 5740’s which is kinda but also at the same time. He’s definitely got one helluva collection and A D connection

I do not believe the 2nd 5740 is his, along with some of the non-sport Patek he posted outside the Tiffany 5205G.

It is a beauty! I’m a big fan of the 5712 and full RG pieces, so this is a win-win

Agreed, a beautiful piece. Thankful to see it in the flesh without the plastic wrapping.

I’d get rid of most of my collection for this. It’s just stunning in so many ways

Pretty watch but I think I'd prefer it with a blue or maybe even better grey dial (a la the rose gold 16202).
