Anyone with 5961R or 5961P?

I've been very interested in making my move into my first gem-set piece after recently acquiring a YG DD with Diamond Hour markers and bezel for a friend. My collecting journey has gone from not understanding the allure of and appreciate the aesthetics of gem-set pieces (one of the fun pieces of evolving taste and appreciation for design as time goes on) to being keenly interested in a number of them.

I have my heart set on a 5271 (especially the new Ruby and Sapphire!) but that will require much more time for me to ramp my PP collection before gaining access to these.

In the interim I've become quite interested in the 5961R and 5961P. Has anyone had the chance to handle these or own these pieces? I'm a sucker for a RG and Black Dial combo but the blue on the 5271P looks spectacular as well and I don't have any blue pieces (across any line) in my collection so there's a certain allure there as well.

PS I think the power reserve indicator is delightful!

Nothing to add here but to post a pic of the 5271p

I have the 5961p and it’s stunning. Go for it you won’t regret it.
The Matt blue dial is really unique and stunning in the wild.
I wouldn’t wait too long because it has been on the catalogue for quite a while and I wouldn’t be surprised if the entry level price for Patek with baguette makes a jump post 5961.

I have it on a Matt rubber patek factory strap and it’s if you ask me. Also you won’t see many around in my experience.

I try to get a strap like you in black color with a white stitch for my 5961r but was rejected by a service center mentioning this strap can’t be done. Not sure to get a similar strap like 5373p.

I am fortunate to live in Geneva and the Salon made me a few on demand straps including the Matt blue and this white with blue stitching.

Yea they are both pretty spectacular. For me the 5961r was the right choice.

Thanks all for posting the great pics! Latest check in with AD sounds like I may have luck before EoY.
