In (‘22) - Coming (‘23)

As the year winds down, let’s see what everyone has been fortunate, thankful and grateful to add to their collections in 2022, and is likely or hopeful to add in 2023 - For me, it’s the following…

In - 2022:
  • 5168G
  • 5167R
  • 5269R
  • 7118A
  • 5270J
Coming - 2023:
  • 5968A
  • 5740G
  • 5990R
  • 7968R

wow, all heavy hitting pieces in 2023. do they come from the same AD?

I only have a 5267 khaki green coming in 2022 for my partner. 2023 is not determined yet, depending on my AD if he likes me or not :))

Congratulations on the 5267 - I think the Aquanauts are the easiest to wear of all Pateks on a regular basis - Your partner is going to be very happy!

This post aged pretty well from a little over a year ago - Received the 5990 in March, 5968 in April and 5740 a few days ago. No 7968R - yet.

2023 was a big year for our family with lots of milestones - birth of our first grandchild from our first daughter, engagement of our second daughter, as well as a big anniversary and big birthdays for my wife and me - all of which are much more important than the watches.

But as my father might have said if asked about getting these three, “We’ll - it doesn’t suck.”

😂😉

Wow, congrats on an impressive year! Gotta ask what the rest of your collection looks like if these are just the latest pieces?

Congratulations on such a great year, both family-wise and watches.
I tried, but couldn’t guess what you’d have in mind for 2024

Thank you! - We’re very fortunate, and very lucky…

I was just at the AD today talking about 2024 - perhaps the 5811 and maybe we’ll try for a Minute Repeater application piece if there’s anything new and interesting this spring.

Yes - quite a few GTs in the garage..=). Many Porsche and Pateks go hand in hand.

This a great slection of fine watches, I also like ALS a lot and their Triple (or Double) split are signature models. Enjoy your collection and car driving!
