Chris (me)
Tyler
Sam
Ash?

Out of interest has anyone else been on a Le Brassus visit?
Chris are you and Tyler in the city?

Ash has confirmed he's staying in a hotel Friday so if something can be sorted for the Friday I'll see if I can get the same hotel, if not I'll come down Saturday morning and meet Ash for breakfast at the hotel, so guess if you two are up for the day as well we could all meet there?

Le Brassus visit is on my must do list now I'm into AP and have made enquires but it's by invite only isn't it? So I couldn't even pay for myself to go

I've done the Le Brassus visit. AP gave me a +1 invite, it was amazing.

I was talking about my visit with Daniel when I saw him in Harrods this week and there's a new museum being built right now but he said that once the work is complete they will be getting people to go there so maybe we could get a group invite?

That would be a dream come true for me

Since Rolex don't do such things I resided myself to not being able to see the craft that goes into the watches I wear but since I've now started to move away from them and onto AP I'd love to go and see in essence the birth place of my ROO

I'm Ealing, West London, so easy to get in.

I had the standard tour earlier in the year, the one in everybody's pics. By 'standard' I mean the usual museum and complication workshops. However what I'd really like to see is the less rarefied machining of cases, dials and polishing etc - the sort of stuff involved in the making of my own watches - and this is being specially organised for later this year.

We stayed a lovely hotel in Geneva, as AP's own in Le Brassus has been flattened and an entirely new, very spectacular, complex is being built. Not sure of completion time for that.

AP get a group of about 6 potential buyers together and take them on the tour. All I'm thinking is that as a group of 4 we could suggest that they take all of us as we are already proven repeat buyers.

good call, Neil could even take a sketch of his new rotor and discuss it face to face with the engraver.

Well as it happens......

No seriously though the custom rotor has got me very interested and I'm going to see if it's available on other models.

Showing us custom rotors was included as part of our tour, that's the only reason I knew about it.

I will plant the seed with Daniel when I see him. Personally I'd say we are all good candidates as we are all potential repeat buyers. The trip I did before was five, including myself and Daniel.
